Panorama of the observatories atop Haleakala volcano, Maui, Hawaii. They include the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (left), the
world's most powerful solar observatory, and the Air Force's silver Advanced Electro Optical System Telescope which tracks satellites
and objects in orbit around the Earth. In the top panorama only, taken well after sunset, the tracking system can be seen deployed. The
spot is a spectacular place to come see the sun set, as many do every night, above the clouds.
